St. Julian Winery Honored with 34 Awards at 2019 Indy International Wine Competition

St. Julian Winery, recognized as Michigan’s longest-operating and most-awarded winery, submitted 34 wines into the 28th Annual Indy International Wine Competition and every single one of them was awarded a medal. Two wines were also named “Best of Class” including the 2018 Braganini Reserve Gruner Veltliner in the White Vinifera category and 2018 Braganini Reserve Vignoles Late Harvest in the Dessert Wines category.

Michigan storyteller, historian and author Dianna Stampfler will be traveling around the eastern Upper Peninsula mid-June to share stories from many of the state’s historic lighthouses. Michigan is home to more lighthouses (and freshwater coastline) than any other state and during her six entertaining and educational presentations, Stampfler will delve into the keepers’ lives.

Lady Americana Midwest Supplies 400+ Beds for NEW Embassy Suites in Downtown Grand Rapids

When the 250-room upscale Embassy Suites Hilton Hotel opened in downtown Grand Rapids last week, each room was outfitted with a mattress and box springs handcrafted less than eight miles away, at Lady Americana Midwest.  In all, 90 King and 318 Queen Bed sets can be found within the 7-story hotel located at 710 N. Monroe, overlooking the Grand River. It is the first Embassy Suites in West Michigan and is under the management of Suburban Inns.
