When the 250-room upscale Embassy Suites Hilton Hotel opened in downtown Grand Rapids last week, each room was outfitted with a mattress and box springs handcrafted less than eight miles away, at Lady Americana Midwest. In all, 90 King and 318 Queen Bed sets can be found within the 7-story hotel located at 710 N. Monroe, overlooking the Grand River.
