A home recently built on Gull Lake by Kalamazoo builder, Abueva Builders, has reached global status. The net zero passive house has been selected as a top ten finalist for the international LEED Home Awards Project of the Year.

This prestigious award recognizes a LEED-certified project that showcases exceptional performance within the LEED rating system, exhibiting remarkable innovation that goes above and beyond the requirements and prerequisites of LEED.

Designed by Mark Miller (CPHC) of Mark Miller Architecture and built by Paul Abueva of Abueva Builders, LLC., this exceptional home boasts an all-electric design, setting new standards in green building by reducing energy consumption by 85%.
