Dianna Stampfler of Promote Michigan will be presenting “Research, Records & Resources for Historical Writing”.
If you have an interest in writing historical fiction or non-fiction, this educational program is for you. You’ll learn where and how to access maps, directories, transport lists, family records (birth, death and marriage certificates), newspaper articles, police reports and more. Whether you’re working on an article for publications like Michigan History Magazine, non-fiction books for publishers like The History Press or historical fiction that reads like fact, you’re sure to pick up a few tricks of the trade from a seasoned researcher, writer and armchair genealogist.
