Join us for a walk along the brand new Universally Accessible boardwalk at the Arcadia Marsh Nature Preserve! Enjoy a leisurely stroll while Senior Land Steward and staff botanist, Angie Lucas highlights the many features of the boardwalk that connects our existing access on M22 to a second parking area on St. Pierre Rd. With any luck, this hike will be during peak wildflower and butterfly viewing times.
The Arcadia Marsh is one of the most beautiful and diverse nature preserves within GTRLC’s umbrella. The new Universally Accessible boardwalk allows users of all abilities to enjoy this iconic property and ensures a sustainable trail, despite Lake Michigan water level fluctuations.
