The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy is looking for volunteers to help restore the incredible ecosystems of Arcadia Dunes: The C.S. Mott Nature Preserve and other protected properties in the southwest region of our service area. By removing garlic mustard, baby’s breath and other invasive species, you will help protect native wildflowers, mushrooms, trees, and shrubs that rely on these healthy habitats.

This activity is moderately strenuous, with volunteers often bending and kneeling to dig out plants. Space is limited for this event, and pre-registration is required. To become a volunteer with GTRLC, please click here to register and then click here to sign up for a shift on our website’s Volunteer Calendar. Workdays will vary by week, and we will email you the specific meeting location. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about volunteering with the Conservancy, please contact Jon Throop at or 231-922-1259. Thank you for your help restoring our natural lands!
